Victoria’s hands tremble as she holds the envelope that Gilbert has given her in her grasp. It’s the same kind of blue envelope that the letters from the Arrows of Apollo that arrived at her apartment came in. An envelope addressed to Ms. Victoria Fairwood, and mailed to this address, Gilbert’s address. I stare down at it in horror, my stomach feeling sick. It is a feeling that mirrors my queen's state, as she stares at it. James stands on her other side, just as speechless as the two of us. I can hear all three of our hearts racing, and I don’t need to be blood bonded to James to know he is feeling the same fear and sickness that Victoria and I are.

James is the first to break out of the trance of fear, and snaps the letter out of Victoria’s hands, ripping it open. A card with an image of a flock of sheep is pulled free, and my heart twists at the sight of the same card from the previous letters from the Arrows of Apollo. I’m not sure I will ever be able to look at sheep without pain and sickness gripping me ever again. As James opens the card, Victoria pulls it away from him, but holds it open for all of us to see.
